Doctor of Ministry Program
The Doctor of Ministry is a professional degree which is designed for those engaged in pastoral ministries or other areas of Christian service. The Doctor of Ministry Education, Christian Counseling, Church Music, and Missiology. A student will select a major from one of these fields of study.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION:
- A Master of Divinity degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution is a prerequisite for application Admission will be based upon a minimum grade point average of 2.5
- Cumulative substantial ministry experience is necessary.
REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION:
- The Doctor Ministry program is designed to be completed within two academic years, although a maximum of five years may be granted in special cases.
- To earn this degree the applicant must complete 48 credit hours beyond the Master of Divinity level.
- The student must participate in at least two on campus seminars before graduation.
- The student must have maintained a sumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above.
- The student must satisfactorily pass the comprehensive examination covering the major field and dissertation.

Concentrations are available in Pastoral Theology, Christian Counseling, Missiology, Christian Education, and Church Music. A Master of Divinity degree is required for admission into this program.
